Scroll web pages gently without Magic Mouse!

SmoothWheel Firefox / SmoothScroll for Google Chrome for Mac OS X 10.0 or later.

The famous Magic Mouse can benefit from Mac to the stimulus that we could discover with enthusiasm on iPhone and iPod Touch. Pleasant, it offers a new browsing experience more fluid and intuitive. However, if you do not have the famous mouse potato you do not have right. Similarly, when one wishes to use only the touchpad's MacBook, the effect disappears.

The extension SmoothWheel successfully integrates the stimulus Firefox. Forgotten robotic jerks, now you can scroll your web pages gently. Simply turn the mouse wheel and the top slide to stop more or less far depending on the thrust. As for options, it will be possible to configure in detail the speed of progress or to activate scrolling with the arrow keys up and down the keyboard. The end result is almost perfect. The icing on the cake, Avi Halachmi offers an adapted version of SmoothWheel Thunderbird mail client from the Mozilla Foundation. We found the same effect and pulse to scroll quickly to emails extension.
On the same principle, we find SmoothScroll Google Chrome for Mac. Like its counterpart Mozilla, it offers the possibility to set the effect in detail and allows scrolling with the arrow keys on the keyboard. But though significant, the result is slightly below what you get with Firefox. To receive SmoothScroll, do not forget to download the latest version of Google Chrome 5.0 Beta for Mac.
