"This You????" Phishing Attacks Over Twitter

Sophos warns us about Twitter phishing attacks with a demonstration.
Hackers have always tried various methods for getting access to private information like login usernames and passwords for different accounts. Now the battleground has also moved to Twitter. Messages like “This you?”, “I’ve seen you here” and other provocative phrases followed by doubtful links may lead users that do not pay attention to a fake login screen that will eventually prove damaging for the unsuspecting typical user.
This method becomes more harmful as people tend to use same username and password for all the accounts they own over the internet so badly intended people may use the commodity of having only few things to remember against the user.
It is strongly recommended that the user be cautious about whatever he access over the internet and if one suspects his account has been compromised one should change the password immediately and check his settings and connections to remove any possible third party unrecognized application.

An alternative option is to create icons that will let you shut down, lock, or restart your computer without having to mess with that stupid popup menu.if you want a shortcut elsewhere or to assign a hotkey, this should help you out.
The procedure for Windows 7 is very similar to that of Vista and XP, but now you can pin those freshly created shortcuts to the Start Menu or the Taskbar or to both.
