That's right. Apparently, they have managed to install Android on an iPhone 2G. Since this phone may not be specifically updated to iPhone OS 4, is an interesting way to experiment with this phone (which is 3 years!)
Given the limitations of hardware and probably bugs that are still present in this hack, Android does not run very well, they say, with remarkable slowness in certain tasks and, of course, functions that we can not access because the iPhone has a single button, against the four standard buttons Android.
The interesting thing is that it has "dual boot", which basically allows us to launch the iPhone OS, Android or a reset of the phone.
No version available, or instructions to do so, but probably see them soon. So if you were giving up with the 2G iPhone, here's a fun project to experiment with this smartphone!
