Messages like “This you?”, “I’ve seen you here” and other provocative phrases followed by doubtful links may lead users that do not pay attention to a fake login screen that will eventually prove damaging for the unsuspecting typical user.
This method becomes more harmful as people tend to use same username and password for all the accounts they own over the internet so badly intended people may use the commodity of having only few things to remember against the user.
